May I suggest a fair resolution to the seat position issue?
If you can put the toilet seat down when you're finished taking a leak, your wife can position the driver seat in the G35 for you before she gets out...

Bullseye - good suggestion and the obvious answer.
I have confirmed with other 6MT Sedan owners that they have the same issue. Actually it's no big deal as my wife will rarely use my car, perhaps just over the weekends. I will report it to Infiniti so they might fix it in a year or two, and then forget about it. The car is great, there is so much to enjoy so why dwell on trivial negatives.
