Stillen has a dual-muffler system that occupies the space of the stock muffler, that should be out soon. I haven't seen a dual exhaust for the sedan yet.

It can't have a split side dual exhaust, but the stillen unit is a true dual- even though it goes thru a "single body" muffler. I am pretty sure the pipes stay independent.

P.S. and its supposed to be ready in 30 days... (ROFL)

The sedan can be fitted with a dual exhaust, but it'll take some extra work. There's a fuel pump relay (I think -- definately something) in the cavity where the right muffler would go. It would have to be relocated.

ryoken,

That component that would need to be relocated to make room for the second (passanger side) muffler is the fuel "Evaporative Emmission System". All fuel vapors including those from the "Onboard Refueling Vapor Recovery (ORVR)" system end up there. Failure of this system or overflow while refueling could result in fuel/fuel vapors near/on the new muffler/exhaust pipe. If these exhaust components were hot it could get ugly.

I, for one, will pass on this proposed design thank you.

Any part of the fuel system near the exhaust wouldn't be good.. but vapors.. ouch.

I'm sure it can be safely relocated to another spot, but I certainly wouldn't treat it as a DIY project. Professionals only for that one.

So, where did they put that little gadget on the coupe?

Check my post "Are you ready to rumble?" for information about the Borla for the sedan.
