it sounds like a weak ground when you turn the ignition to start and then everything dies that ususally what it is. listen try starting the car and have your wife wiggle the ground terminal while you start it ( shes prob gonna say noo im gonna get shock etc tell her she wont.)

thats what it sounds like to me especially since you just got a new battery.

If you aren't hearing the starter click over at all, it could possibly be the immobilizer system as well...
do you have an aftermarket remote start ?
Yes, but it has worked for over a year with the previous owner (hell I dont know how to use the damn thing!)

The sad thing is it is parked in a way right now that is completely impossible to push start it (on gravel, with a fence infront of it!) Infiniti has said they will flatbed it outta there

It's not the immobilizer, the car will turn over with the immobilizer but not start. It kills the ignition.

That would be nice but they will replace the problem part(s) reagardless of what they are before you get an 07'.

UPDATE:
Got the car flatbedd'd to the dealership, and they looked @ it this morning. Turns out it was the clutch sensor, which is out of stock of course, so I'll have to wait another day before I get my baby back... atleast it wasn't a big deal!

So basically the car didnt think I had the clutch down, when I really did.
