I do it all the time I think the car has some of the best timeless styling of any sedan of this decade so far. It's so clean, subtley aggressive, and looks so damn good with just a 1" drop. Apparently others think the same because a week doesn't seem to go by without a teenage boy or 30-50 y/o man/woman telling me how much they like my car. It shocks me because all that's done to my black G is some blacked out handles/grill, ricer clears, tint, and a 1" drop. The car will look so much better with 18s, painted lowers, and the Aero bumper. I think about that daily

I dont ever stop to think about it, i think that all the time. I park my G right outside my classroom at my college and just watch everyone that walks/drives by it and stares.

Yeah, before I looked at the G35, my heart was dead set on an Acura TL. I think about it now and laugh. Not that the TL is a bad car, but compared to the G, it looks like it could knock a buzzard off a s---wagon.

I have the sedan, someone else that parks at my building has the coupe. That's it. I counted the other day and saw 11 Acura TL's in the lot, plus a few TSX's.

Sometimes I park next to them hoping they get jealous.

By the way, there are also alot of 325's 330's and M3's in the lot. I've caught them all giving my car a look.

This thread is great. It allows us to be proud of our cars outloud without being jerks.

Wow, I thought I was the only one. When I walk to my car after a day at the office, I smile to myself. I've had my '05x for over a year now and I still love the look.

Guilty...

...as charged! This is coming after I owned a 1993 Jag Xj6 which was my dream car, that was totalled by a drunk two months ago. I fretted on which car to replace my jag. I didn't want to spend $60K plus or $50k or $40k... I cleared the slate and was rid of all my biases about buying european only. I was so pleasantly surprised with my G35 '06 sedan purchase. I don't get the compliments like I used to with my jag. But screw it... I like the looks, responsiveness and the ride of my new G35 sedan. It was only .8" shorter in wheelbase over my Jag sedan. I don't regret the decision at all.

haha - I do the look back all the time, too! Some angles are better than others, though. The sideprofile is just sick IMO. I love how the front end wraps tight around wheels and how the c pillar flows into the shoulders. It's not just a pretty face either. I don't mind getting stopped by redlights anymore. It just means I can wind it out in 1st and 2nd gear again to listen to that roaring V6! At work, someone once asked me if it had a V8. Nice.

I love how everyone thinks I spent a lot more money on it than I really did.

ABSOLUTELY....not sure if I'd be saying it if I owned a bone stock G though...I think aftermarket rims really set this car off.... My wife LOVES my car, but luckily, she never asks to drive it!
