Smoke Taillight

Anyone done the smoke taillight for your G? Just wondering how hard to put the smoke films on G35 Sedan. Also I know it's not street legal, so do you get into troubles with any cops?

I've never had any problems with cops for my tails.

What about if you have whole taillights covered, instead of have two round circles by the break lights? And how dark is the film? Is that 30% tinted?

Bat has a 3/10 and a 6/10 overlay(tint). Both the cars pictured above are 6/10. Even if you cover the whole taillight, our LED's are so bright from the factory that you shouldnt have any problems with cops.

Cool. Do you know where can I buy those DIY kit overlay? And are those removeable overlay or it has the adhive at the back of the films?

BTW, where did you get the "SUPERCHARGED" decal for your G? That looks very nice.

The larger one (what I have now) came from a guy on my350z. He made two, one that said "SuperchargedZ" and "TwinTurboZ". I just took off the "Z".

The smaller one came from ebay.

Get them from BlueBatMobile, he posted at the top of this thread. He makes the GTR (holes) and full smoke.

I have seen another black G with the full smoke and you can see the lights just fine when they light up. We were driving in the afternoon with the sun behind us and I could still see them perfectly.

If you have the 05-06 tails then the GTR is a must. It looks awesome.

Yeah, if you have the 05/06 go with the GTR, it looks awesome. If you have the 03/04, go with the full smoke.
