Well I didn't mean it was stupid for doing it.. the stupid part was driving back on BALD tires.

The ground was really bad for drifting, really rough. I wouldn't do it in the same place ever again. And those who have done this kinda stuff before, know it's difficult in keeping the car from 180'ing.

More pics! More vids! I saw the vid and I saw chunks of your tire getting torn off when you did the brake stand. LOL
My rears have less than 5% tread on them and I'm replacing them at the end of the month with snow tires. I have the same plans as you did - take the car to a nice lot and have some fun.
I've never seen tires that look as abused as yours did. My jaw dropped when I saw that pic of the old ones vs. the new. How much tread did you have when before you started drifting?

There was about 45-50% tread left before we killed the tires. The front ones were fine, I suggested we put the rear's in the front and front in the rear... but that'd be too dangerous to drive back to the shop.
