I'm RWD, the G35X looks to have the same transfer case set up as the AWD FX35 and the AWD FX45. The FX45 is rated at 320hp and 335tq, I guess we'll see what it can take.

I have the Level10 internals kit coming so VRT will be working with that on my set up. If it works you should be golden. Brnjug who was the test FX45 for the internals kit is happy with the upgrade.

I want to see someone spray a 100shot (or more) on a G35X right out of the hole. That thing would launch like a rocketship!!!!

My first run after fixing the AFR & upgraded the VB:
This is my first & only run without hitting rev. limiter.
Recorded using my G-timer, which was carefully calibrated at track to be within 0.1" vs. slip.

1/4 mile ET: 12.92"
60 ft: 1.95"
0-60: 4.40"
Max HP: 325 whp
Max Speed 107 mph
Temp. 20 F
225/45/R18 Toyo Proxy 4 All season, 32 PSI.
VDC Off, Air/Heat Off, Manual Shift.

There is no problem launching with the 225 all season, thanks to the AWD.
I shifted early at: 5000, 6000, 6000 to avoid hitting rev limitor.
There are room left for shifting, So I'll try 5500, 6000, 6300 next time.
The car feels like a rocket, especially the launch is awsome!
Besides S/C, only other performance mods are sports suspension, light weight BBK & Stillen true dual.

As soon as Epping NH drag strip open on April 1, I'll head down there for some slips. Last year just about every car out there beat me (I was running 14.8-14.9 all day), It's time for revenge!

Just for reference, my best G-timer run before S/C was 14.4, max hp 230 whp, max speed 95 mph, also done in cold winter. The HKS S/C improved ~1.5" for the quarter mile.

How do you like the Vortech kit? I was considering that or the Stillen, decided to go stillen since I'm an auto and it's a daily driver.

Wow, you hit a 12.9 at only 107!

I was thinking the same thing. 12.9 should get >110 trap speed. I could not look at the AFR when doing the run, I was too busy watching between road & the rpm for shift. I am wondering if If I still need more fuel on the top end.

Because it's so fast off the line with the 60 ft & 0-60 & I can feel that after 3rd gear, it wasn't as strong as it could. In theory, the centrifugal S/C is stronger at the top, that makes me thinking may be I am still lean at the top end, not running at optimum AFR & maybe the EUC pulled timing to react to lean AFR at top?

I got some 380cc injectors, thinking about installing them.
I already have the 255 pump. My car has 6x 290cc stock injectors &
2x 525cc in-plenum injecors. I can not tune the HKS ECU as it's locked.
(Add all these injectors together, it's equal to 6x465cc injectors,
change to 380cc will equal to 6x 555cc injectors).

At my current set-up, my idle is 600, rock solid.
AFR are 13 start, 14.5 idle, 12-11.5 range at boost, but I don't really know when I WOT all the way to 4th grear, was my AFR able to keep up & stay in the 11th all the way or went back up to 13.

Can someone answer me:

If I install the 6x 380cc injectors & up the idle to 800. What's going to happen? I am thinking that the car will run a bit rich, the injectors will open 30% more, but OE ECU will be able to dial it back a bit because ECU will try to bring it back to normal, but probably not able to bring it back all the way. Assuming net results is 15% more rich all the way.

I am thinking my AFR will be:
11 start
12.5 idle
9.5-11 at boost

Would this be damaging? Would it be worth trying? I am thinking it won't hurt? Richer is better, right? Worst case I'l just swich stock injecors back.
If it does get a bit too rich, I can also add a plenum spacer to lean it back a little. I am trying to "Turn with hardware", rather than "turn with software".

Fuel experts, please chime in!

Another alternative is to add water injection.

It's fine. When you hit 3k all hell breaks lose!
With the vortech you will get some gearlash noise but for me it went away after I went on a 1000 mile trip. Bad weather last summer cancelled some track events we scheduled at Raceway Park. I'll track it sometime in the Spring and get some numbers.

Thanks, Xman,

That was way better than I thought, I would have been happy with low 13th.
I see many >400 whp TT can't get into 12s due to problem putting the power down with only 2 wheels going & even bigh wide tires is not enough. I am going the other way, I will try to put on my Forged 17 with stock 215/55 rubber next time, that's 8lb ligher than my PIAA set-up per corner. Im thinking that'll be another 0.2" right there, no need for drag rubber for the AWD.

I am just still so paranoid about the AFR. My WOT AFR is still seems to be in the 12/13 area. Won't be running another 1/4 mile until I get a Dyno & make sure everything is where it should be. Can't afford to ca-boom my daily driver.
