Suspension for Daily Driver
I need to get some feedback from people who swapped out their stock nonsport suspension for something a bit sportier like the Z or coupe suspension. Is it worth the money, is the drivability that much better? I am not looking to be able to take corners at 3 miles per hour faster that usual, I just want something that will make the car generally funner to drive, and hopefully make the steering wheel less jerkey on bumpy roads. How much do typical installation costs run?

If you want cheap and better handling, pick up a set of 350Z springs and struts off an 05-06 350Z, should run $150-$200. Install costs for springs and struts should be around $200-400 depending on where you live and if there's any custom shops.

there are lots of threads with this discussion. I went with the coupe (sport) springs and shocks - about 3/4" drop. Depending on what tire/rims you are running will determine what kind of drop you want.
I was really happy with the handling improvement. If I were to do it again, I would consider the 350z package.
Def worthwhile - then combine it with the stillen sway bars - sweet!

I changed out my sport springs for H&R springs. They have been very nice over the last year. The drop is 1.2/1.0 and sits just the way I like plus the ride is not bad at all.
But that being said, this weekend I got a great deal on a set of Tein comfort series coilovers with the EDFC controller so I will be installing those soon and selling the H&R’s.

i went with the 06 springs and shocks for $250 shipped and $100 for install...best mod i've done to my car imo...

Just spent my first week with the Eibach Pro-kit and my non-sport shocks. The ride and handling is great. Even with 3 people in the car, it handled great through the twisties in our local mountains. Total cost was $200 for the springs and $150 for the install. This is by far my favorite mod.

I hear the D-Spec + OEM Z springs are a great way to go. D-specs are $500...Z springs dirt cheap.
If you go w/ Z springs...the rear may look like it is sagging a bit...so some add a 3/8" spacer or like me...put Coupe rear springs.
If you go w/ Z springs...the rear may look like it is sagging a bit...so some add a 3/8" spacer or like me...put Coupe rear springs.

Sagging sucks. That is one of the main reasons I have been so happy with my H&R's. The front is a little lower than the rear and looks perfect. Most of the aftermarket springs I have had over the years have always sagged. It looks like crap to me.
