I must be blind but where is the tranny fluid dipstick?? I literally was staring under the hood for 20 min this afternoon and could not find any place where the tranny fluid gauge is

The tranny dipstick is actually screwed down as it is a sealed system. The screwed down cover for the dipstick is somewhere near the firewall. I found this out after buying a quart of Nissan fluid and then finding out that you do not check the tranny on a regular basis.

Thanks for sharing the answer Unlike engine oil, I'm not planning to check the tranny fluid every time I fill up, but more like once every 1-2 months.

US G35s = no dipstick. Just a filler tube w/ a cap.
