Also, when I had my Borla TD, I noticed that it absolutely killed my MPGs. I went from 19mpg in the city to 14mpg in the city. Same driving style.
But you had your borla on for, what, 2 or 3 days?

I experienced the same thing on my car when I put on the stillen exhaust. And the mrev. And the cats. And the test pipes. And the airbox. Every time I've touched an intake or exhaust component(except for the k&n filter), my next tank has gone to pot. The tank after that would be fine.

9k and that low MPG? yeah help yourself out ... take it to the dealer and tell em there's a prob w/ the car

I don't think you're terlling the whole story here. I routinely on mine through the gears and I still average 18 MPG. A lighter set of cross trainer shoes might help.

maybe when the car was new, the first owner drove the car like he stoled it the first day he got it, also maybe no breakin period.

Just a random thing, i just moved to Salt Lake city temporarily, from Houston. about 5000ft above sea level here, and its great! my MPG on my G have significantly increased, from 14 mpg in the city to a steady 18-19 in mostly city driving. Though, i also get a rather noticeable power drain from this damnnnn less dense air. Also, they only sell 91 octane here at most cause of the higher elevation. Now, i thought the intake woudl compensate for lower air density, but i guess there's a point where it can't compensate any further, adn it just has to lower the fuel injection rate/volume to get proper combustion. saving gas though! less power

I only put in 93.

I'm putting in a Unichip soon, hopefully it'll fix my A/F, I'm guessing that might be a problem with my mods.

Not much better from the other side of the country bro. Bay Area is fairly mild in temp and at sea level for the most part and still avg about 17-20 combo city/highway. It's just a fact of life and the car.

I bought my 06 6MT Sedan on 10/13/06. I have filled her up for the 3rd time now and have already average 20 mpg on the first tank, 21 mpg on the second tank. The first two fills I took it easy for the break-in period. Now I am over 1300 miles on my car - so I won't be so easy on her and we will see how it effects my mpg.

Also my drive is in Atlanta bumper-to-bumper traffic everyday - so my mpg is strickly city driving. I am curious if my highway mpg will match the advertised mpg.

Bottom line - I didn't buy this car for its wonderful MPG - if i wanted that, I would have bought a camry hybrid or something. I love the raw power it has to offer. Hell, my brother Honda Pilot matches my MPG....so I don't really care about it honestly.

I lived in Atlanta for about 7 months (of hell) and I know what you mean about the bumper to bumper traffic. Interestingly, when I lived in Atlanta it became very clear to me just how much effect slow speed traffic has on this car. You know as well as I that the ONLY time you can actually leave a stop light with any real speed in Atlanta is either after 1000pm or before 6am. Otherwise, the traffic is simply to thick.....everywhere (God I hated that). In Kansas City the roads are 4 lane everywhere and the city was planned for growth unlike Atlanta. In Atlanta I averaged about 21mpg in pure city driving. In Kansas City where I have the freedom to leave the light at more than a snail's pace, I see about 19mpg in pure city driving.

As for pure highway driving, I typically see 28-29mpg and that's with a wife/child/50+lbs of gear on board. I almost cracked 30mpg on my way to St. Augustine, FL.

Mods are listed in my sig, but they haven't really effected the mpg, it's always been bad. And I don't floor it, very rarely. I drive pretty conservative, that's why I'm pissed. I understand if I was racing around all the time, I wouldn't bitch about the mileage.

My question is, is there something that could be hurting my mpg? Fuel filter? i have no idea.
You are not the only man! I've done 2 MOD's so far (CAI and exhaust). Before the upgrade I was doing 12 MPG in the city. Aftet the upgrade, I'm doing about 14 - 15 MPG in the city. 95% of my driving is in the city.
