Yes, that is the one i am talking about. It's all good though, just means i'll have to do more stuff to make my car unique.

The wheels weigh 27lbs a peice as i stated earlier in the thread.

The tires i'm getting are the Bridgestone Potenza RE960 PP. I was going to get the RE750's but there on back order for 30 days, and they dont make S03's anymore. Sizes: 245/35/19Front 275/30/19Rear.

Razo168, didnt know you got new wheels. They look good, what's the offset on the rears? Also who did the vinyl job? I would rather go with the vinyl than painting it.

I would tint the windshield (if it's legal in Cali). It would flow much better and complete the dark look of the car.

^That would look hot. It's not legal in Cali though. He could go with something real light and prob get away with it.

It's all good razo, my rims arent top of the line either, haha. How'd you get a vinyl shop to do the whole roof? is it 2 pieces?

I still have to retint the back at 5% and the sides at 15% I might think about doing the windshield at 50% but my eyes are already bad enough as it is at night, so maybe not.

well, i wanted to paint it; but i know that my pops wudnt approve;.. i wanted it real bad so i started thinking about what else i could do; and i came up with vinyl..

it was a pain in the *** to get a piece that big; its actually a one piece; it looks better in PICTURES. i still need to get it fixed some more; i did it three times before getting it right;

Pro Tint in Rosemead, CA did it for me.

i wanted to tint my front windows but i heard that it will cause light to bounce everywhere in certain situations;

and again; sorry for imitatin' you guys..

I don't know why you have to apologize so much. Its not like any of his parts are "specially made, one of a kind, one-off" parts anyway. All of his parts are mass produced. Thats like getting upset at some guy on the street for wearing the same Nikes as you.

Even the whole black roof thing was done and played out by Honda tuners YEARS ago.

So what if you liked his car and bought similar parts? Heck, I like his car too!! who cares? Why the hate?

There's really not that many of us (G sedan modders) around really. If I was to see one of US on the road, even if his car looked exactly like mine, I'd be more apt to say 'wassup bro, nice ride'. Rather then hate on you and call you a biter. Stop apologizing man, and just do what makes you happy.

I'm all for originality, but to add to what someone else said, on these forums it is really difficult to do something unique that will still be unique for a long time. If it looks hot, someone will imitate it.
\
AND..imitation is generally a sign of flattery...and the reason the first person does it is because they think it will look good. It's only natural for someone else to copy it when it turns out hot. I guess the trick is to put a little bit of a personal spin on it...so that everyone's has their own take on the same idea.
