Question for the Sedan owners

I just recently rented a 06/ G35 sedan which is a fine vechicle . Now this is very Fobby *** question but, can someone please tell me how the hell do you adjust the steering wheel. I think the one i got is the unlimate basic model another words no telescopic steering wheel...hope i said that rite.

Anyways i am able to manually pull it to the front but, i tried & tried but can't get this thing to go up or down. Once again i know this sound very stupid but, i need help, cause i am stuck with this car for next two weeks.

I've got a loaner now as well without the electronic steering wheels adjustment, but it only took a second to figure out. Stick your hand under the steering wheel, you'll find two large plastic clasps. Pull those down- you'll then be able to move the whole steering wheel down, up, farther away from you, or towards you... Don't forget to push the clasps back in to secure the wheel in place.

Believe me, i did that but for some reason that plastic clasp won't go up or down.
