Howdy from Texas!

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I just purchased a 2004 G35 Sedan that is silver on black.

I am brand new to the Infiniti world...so any help is greatly appreciated.

I plan on purchasing the clear corners to replace the amber ones. Are there different options out there...or are they all the same? I've read to not go with the e-bay ones. So I will be looking elsewhere. I will be looking at yalls cars as well to get more ideas...

Is there a large group from DFW?

Welcome, where in Irving are you? I'm in Coppell. There are a few other DFW sedan people that frequent the boards, glad we have another. I hope you enjoy your car.

As far as the clear corners go, don't buy the ebay ones. Many people have complained of fitment issues. Check out EverythingG35.com or PM user Chad@infinitispecialists. He stocked them the last time I heard and normally has great prices.

Welcome, congrats on the car. I'm guessing pretty low miles, your leather is in very good shape.

I live off of 635 and MacArthur and work off of Freeport...

I should clarify one thing...the G is for my fiance who goes to Baylor in Waco...so I technically wont drive the car everyday. But I will still be taking care of it and such...AND be coming to meets with it...HA

Yep...it has 28,000 miles...which was a GOOD selling point...
The dealership had the same car in White/Tan...but the interior was a little more worn in...so i took the silver...

By the way...is there a way to retrofit a nav?

Howdy timsan, congrats on your recent pick-up on the G. Looks just like mine (silver on black), except mine is 2003.5 and has wood trim on the interior. As others have mentioned, go to g35parts.com for clear corners. That's where I got mine, and I've never been happier after they were installed. Clear corners go 100X better than the amber ones on a silver G35

Thanks for the welcome...this is great...and yes i know this is addictive...im on MBWORLD.org for my C-class...spending all my money...

And the c230k is my car...and the G is for the future misses...

The G is an awesome car, and im glad to add it to the collection!

Is there only the one type of clear corner? Ive seen pictures of some that are smoked and other styles...is that all personally done?

Also...sorry if this was already discussed in another thread...is there a way to put in the factory nav...or something that looks factory?

it would not be worth it to put the factory nav in, go aftermarket Double Din and it will have many more features on it too...check the audio video section and you will find everything you need...it will retain the stock look too...good luck!
