CF rear lip spoiler?
Well, got it today. It's real! heheh well it's a real Cf look sticker on a rubber molding.
Also about a 1/2" short on each side. I put it on just to see what it looks like but will be replacing it with a real one asap. The lip looks sweet from the rear. Now if I can just find a real one. Guess I might have to buy a good one and have a layer of Cf laid on. Anyone now of a good place to get it done in Orange County? I was thinking of doing it to the grill too.

I have the M3 lip spoiler
It is a bit short on both sides, but not to the point of really looking it.
The big F&*king pain is getting the thing to stick to the trunk lid. These G's are aerodynamically sound, unfortunately the air that comes down the C pillar over the rear decklid likes to slowly peel mine free. I have tried every adhesive known to man to get it to stick, but to no avail.
The one thing is that the autobody place DID NOT paint the bottom/adhesive side of the spoiler and left it exposed (original plastic/rubber) and that seems to be the toughest spot to get it to stick.
I really do not want to snap, get drunk and angry and start drilling into the decklid with sheetmetal screws...
Someone please help.

I heard UT was asking around for guys who wanted a lip spoiler that would use a similar sticker (looked like carbon fiber)....haven't heard of any REAL ones. Though, I do recall seeing the new Audi S4 a year ago & the rear spoiler was carbon fiber (looked sweet!!!). Not sure if that would be an option for ya (fitment).
What kind of tape are you using?
JMAN44544 - what are you using? 3M automotive double-sided tape? I have the UT medium spoiler and they provided that tape with it, and it's sticks like a charm (see attached pict...the tape is thin, black & has a red backing to it).
Also, from what I've read on the forum, the following shall be done for installing a lip spoiler w/ adhesive tape:
1) Don't clearcoat the underside of the spoiler (the fact that it's NOT painted may not be a bad thing)
2) Wipe down both the spoiler and the top of the trunk with rubbing alcohol to strip away any residue & wax
3) Apply spoiler

I am using the 3M tape..but
I see how you have installed the thin tape all the way around, that my work better. I use the fat strip and I think there must be a little room for the air to get under it to lift it.
I will try the alcohol and the thin tape, vs the fatter strip.
I appreciate the pics and hope it works.

They come flat black (urethane) ready to paint. I had my grille and spoiler painted at one time and I was charged $350 I believe in total. I think the Grille was $200 and the spoiler was $150?
My spoiler was $125 to have painted...Came flat black... I just e-mailed spoilerdepot.com and they will paint an M3 Spoiler an Infiniti color. So you can do a 1 stop shop.
