1/4 mile track times
So here's my postings from first track session.
Scanner is down, will scan asap.
2 best slips from the night.
Track is Lone Star Raceway Park, near Sealy, Tx. (near sealevel)
They recently refurbished the 1/8 mile track to 1/4 mile.
Track was ok, I seemed to get good grip.
Was nighttime, Temp was 60degrees, dipping into the 55's, which was nice!. slight wind.
1/2 tank of gas. Did not remove anything from the car.
react: .1662
60 ft: 2.2248
330 ft: 6.1452
1/8 ET: 9.3265
1/8 mph: 77.24
1000ET: 12.0647
1/4 ET: 14.3562
1/4 mph: 98.79
react: .0619
60 ft: 2.2569
330 ft: 6.2244
1/8 ET 9.4237
1/8 mph: 76.91
1000ET: 12.1767
1/4 ET: 14.4810
1/4 mph: 98.27
I am thinking of getting the reflash, so will be interested to see how this changes.
There was an A&M sports club session, and I saw a Z put down a 13.6. Don't think it was turbo'd but he had a laptop running, so had something going on. There was also an awesome 'vette, that did 10.4 ! (1/4 mile)

$10 for spectators, $15 to race (as many times as you want).
I went a few weeks ago - $15, and did about 15 runs before I had enough.
Mine is (mostly) stock too - no problem... it's easy. They are well setup and take care of newbies like me.
I think you can run at anytime (test and tune). They have it well organized, and split the tuners into seperate groups.

Took me a few to figure out when to slam it. Quite a delay on the ol' auto tranny. Let's just say green is sometimes (very) orange.
