I thought I would ask your thoughts on your concerns about voiding your warranty. Do you have connections at the dealer? Or is a warranty not something you are concerned about at all? I'm going to modify my car, but I'm not sure if it's better for me to wait it out until the warranty is up. All my vehicles in the past were older and past their warranty. This is a first for me.

As long as you do not go with some type of FI kit, your warranty should be fine. I have not had any issues at all. My mods are somewhat limited, but unless you have a specific problem caused by a mod, any respectable dealer (there are some that are not) should be fair about it.
Things like brakes, suspension, intake and exhaust all seem to not be an issue.

The dealer has to prove your mod caused the problem.
I made the choice to give up most of my warranty with my mods but the dealer has been cool about it when I came in a few times. First they gave me a new tranny for the synchro problems. Then they replaced my wheels bearings even after I have aftermarket wheels, brakes, struts, springs, and sway bars. So it depends on the dealer too.
