Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all the great advice. The woman and her husband went with me to the body shop saturday to get an estimate. The guy at the body shop was really cool and said there was no damage except to the paint so he could rem,ove the bumper and repaint it so it would be good as new. He said this would take 2 days and is charging $400. The woman's husband gave me $500 cash to cover the work and a rental. He was very I was glad that they were honorable and this didn't have to get dragged out and ugly. I dropped the car off this morning so I should get it back tomorrow afternoon. I'll let you know how it looks. Thanks again

 

Glad to hear things worked out mdkip. I think alot of people (myself included) assume the worst in situations like at the beginning. It's always nice to see things go smooth for a change
