TSB's

Do I necessarily have to notify my dealer of every TSB when I take my G in to the shop? Or is it required that they fix/repair anything notified under TSB's?

I haven't been notified by my dealer of anything "additional" they've repaired other than what I brought it in for.

Thanks

Re: TSB's

Glance through the list of TSBs and see if anything looks like it needs to be done. The rattle inthe door, shuddering wiper blade, etc. If anything looks shady, bring it to your dealer and tell them about it; they should fix it without a problem. They won't send you reports for every TSB unless they are 90% sure it'll be affecting your car spcifically or is a mandatory recall. Any problems with it so far?

Re: TSB's

Thanks for the heads-up, Geo.....No problems thus far. I've had my G since Sept. The only thing I've taken it in for, outside of 1st oil change, was the "shudder" or "bouncing" of HID headlight beam while driving.....Dealer says they checked it and it is within specs. Explained to me that low-profile type cars tend to have a bounce in HID lights because of how straight the beam of light is. Did he blow smoke up my @$$$ ????

someone talked about it before and said that, too, and also that our xenon HIDs have a more defined beam compared to halogens, which is why you notice the "bouncing." so, i guess not too much smoke was blown.

Re: TSB's

If there's something that Infiniti declares as "needs to be done to all cars" then it'll show up in the dealership's computer at your next service, and they'll do it automatically, and tell you about it. However, many TSB's are just instructions on how to resolve specific complaints. They won't be performed unless your car exhibits a particular problem.
