I painted most of it. The cowl is still CF but has 7 coats of clear so you can't feel where the paint stops. I have never had anyone in person say they don't like it. Only in pics.

Het Tim if you are going to keep this hood you might want to check this out, I have been thinking that if I get the CF hood to mabe get these myself
