Need Opinions on Rims

Hey All,

I need some help here and am turning to the experienced and wise people here for that help. LOL.

I am thinking about getting some new rims for the G and I am torn between going the more traditional route with silver rims or stepping out a bit and getting gunmetal gray (this would be a really wild move for me).

Here are the rims I am thinking about:

Gunmetal:

Silver:

Please let me know what you all think and if any of you guys have pics of a black sedan with gunmetal rims, please post them. I have seen a couple so far but more would be cool.

I appreciate all of your input and take it easy.

The wheels are not bad, but nothing spectacular. If you did choose those wheels I would go with the graphite although I may be a little biased.

EDIT: Here's my black sedan with graphite wheels.

Thanks for the input so far. It's funny that you all say they are normal, I thought they were pretty fancy looking.

I have checked just about every image in the sticky threads and I have not found too many black sedans with gunmetal colored rims. I guess its just not a common combination. Makes me want that color even more.

Thanks for the pics skeleton_cru.

Well I have some time until I make the purchase so please keep the opinions and suggestions coming.

Thanks.

Be patient, you'll find the right wheel. I must have considered over 20 wheels before I said "Those are the ones!".

Go with Gunmetal.

I suggest you look at lots of pictures. Both of our cars and of others. Then narrow it down to a style (spoke, mesh, polished lip, full paint). If you narrow down your wants/desires it may help you get closer to what you really want.

In the end, it's what you like and not what others like.

This tread was funny actually I recommend you check out eBay they have a huge selection of wheels and tires at a discount. You just have to make sure to get the correct offset. Chrome is kinda played out but if it's the right pair it really looks good ttrank comes to mind but he does have a supercharger to balance the extra weight.

eBay to buy wheels??? That's a VERY risky proposition. Instead find a reputable shop in your area or a reputable online shop.
