Rant/Question

I originally had this question in the Buying/Leasing section but I don't know how many views that section actually gets so I am putting it here. The other one can be deleted I guess..

<Start Rant>
I am sick of all the money I've poured into my leased G. I have an 05 sedan that has every possible available option (monthly lease was $495 which was for 39 months, 15K/miles a year).

I got into a recent accident, which cost 1200 bucks to fix, and they did crap work, so I decided to get it looked at by a different place.

I also have a projector retro for my headlights in the works.

I've gotten the car tinted/untinted several times; just wasting money.

If I want to get the car back to showroom looks, it will cost me between 5-6K, which doesn't include the projector headlights (which I already have vested 1K into on parts).
I have other minor complaints about the car such as all of the rattles and creaks and the poor gas mileage and it being a regular dent magnet.

My lease is expiring July '07.
<End Rant>
My question is, (more of an opinion one), which of the following options would be a wise decision for me at this point:

1. Spend the 5K, finish the projector retro, buy out the car at the end of the lease, and resell it.
2. Ignore all of the cosmetic aspects, stick it out with a subpar Sedan, return it to the dealer at the end of the lease and just cut my losses with the projectors.
3. With all of the money it would need to make the car pretty again, that's most of the money for the rest of the lease at this point; just take the loss there, and trade it in for something else (i don't know how that works though with ending a lease early)
4. Something completely different that someone here has thought of that I haven't thought of yet.

Any input is welcome.

Thanks!

I can see why you didn't get any replies before.

Part out the car while returning it to stock in a half assed manner (whatever you can get away with without being penalized on lease return), finish the projector retro fit and trade with another member for their stock headlights and some $$$.

Just a suggestion. Also try to be smarter in general, not just about your car but everything, take some classes or something, these are all issues you should have thought through BEFORE modding a lease vehicle, you should already have had an exit strategy. This is all very George W Bush of you.
