It's one of the features I really like about my A4. It gets hot really quick and the fan pushes a lot of air with little noise.

The G35's climate control system is top-notch. The fans are very powerful and the automatic controls are well-designed. I've never driven an A4 so I can't comment on how it compares, but the G's system certainly doesn't disappoint.

The G's climate control will not blow the fan (heat) until the engine temp has warmed up. As the engine temp goes up, the fan turns on & speed increases. It does blow well; however, it is by NO MEANS QUIET at it's highest setting! It's quite loud.....

Do you own a G? or just an A4 and are contemplating the G?

My early 03 sedan climate/fan SUCKS as compared to my old maxima 92se.

It's also noticably worse than the 05 loaners I've had.

I own a 2001 A4 and am looking for a 2005 or 2007 G35X. Climate is also very loud at maximum in the A4 but very quiet in normal auto-climate use.

Don't know about the '07s, but I would worry more about road noise in the '05 and '06 than climate control noise.

I don't know A4's climate control setup that well but the G is among the best I've experienced so far. My wife's Acura CL is just OK, not great. My bro's outgoing '01 330i is terrible and his new 335i is better but still not great. Meanwhile my G always keeps me very comfortable.

Well if that's the case, in normal auto-climate use, you can't even hear it. Very impressed with that aspect of it.

I'd be more concerned with the annoying, random rattles within the cabin.
