Folded leather-_-

It was snowing very hard yesterday. I left my window open after my smoke when I go to work; when I got off work, my whole front seats are cover with snow, and some of the snow melted and saok into the leather. But I thought it wasn't really a big deal cause it will be a short drive from my work back home, so I drove it home, and the next day the leather got folded. I am wondering if the warranty will cover my leather or not.

yikes...sorry to hear! Post some pics. I doubt your warranty would cover something like this...unless you can create some story that said it naturally turned that way!

sorry to hear that but water damaged on leather is obvious and I doubt that the dealer will replace it for you. We get it here alot but more with people leaving windows open and the car getting rained on and then saying that the leather "naturally got that way". Your best bet is to just cut the seams around the leather just like one or two opposite to the side of the damage and just pull the strings back and say its coming apart and you are scared of it just breaking on you.

If the dealer won't do it, find an upholstery shop - on my 4th gen Max the leather tore, and I had just the seat panel replaced. They matched it perfectly, and think it cost something like $100.
