Engine wash with a new jwt pop and z tube

Just installed the nissan z tube and jwt pop charger a few hrs ago and man does it sound hot!!

anyways we've had some rain over the past two weeks and my engine is dirty and so too is my undercarriage. I was planning on getting a proper wash in a few days which includes a engine wash. Now will getting water on the pop charger affect it?

No, it should leak right out the bottom side of the pop charger....to be safe afterwords just take it off and air dry it for a little bit.

at the car wash they have both a vaccuum cleaner and a pressure air hose (used to dry off tires)... i guess i can use the pressure hose to air dry it right.

Yes, just take the filter off and stick the pressure hose on the inside and blast it out. Dont clean it from the outside in or else the dirt and what not will get stuck in the filter. If you clean it from the inside out it will blast the dirt out.

if its not too late, and since it sounds like your popcharger is new and not in need of cleaning, just put a plastic bag around the filter during engine cleaning to prevent water from touching it...
