Hehe, I considering a few options, one of which is a higher compression NA stroker kit. After getting ticketed during the last meet & all the cars being pulled over in Stockton the last few months, I'm considering a "stock looking" setup. I know it'll cost more and have less top end power but I don't spend that much time at 6k+ and would like to see a sedan with a stroked motor. I'm more of a torque & suspension fiend than hp rating anyways. Tim may beat me to the punch again though.

Tim I would just go ahead and build your motor, if not for additional power then more for the assurance of pushing that much power for a long time. The maximum power I would go for usability would be 500, I mean anythng more than that then your just spinning tires half the time.
There is no end to how much power one needs so it is best to leave that to the deep pocket guys...haha

For a suspension fiend, you should get rid of those S-Tech's and try some real coilovers. As for the stroker kit, I always dreamed about doing that, but alas the cost turned me off. If you do want lots of low end power, the carb legal Stillen SC may be the best option for you...

I say go for a simple build. eagle rods, and some nice pistons like wiseco or CPs (not those retarded Arias EDs.) Go for a low comp. ratio like 8.5:1 or 8:1. That way you can run normal ignition timing , especially if you keep the boost where it is. You'll make a ton more power with all the added timing. having to run excessively retarded timing (like we are) causes the EGTs to skyrocket.

S-Techs will be gone this year too. I don't like the hood for the Stillen SC plus it defintely does not look stockish.

I think an NA stroker motor would be awesome. I went TT because I like the feeling and sound of the turbos. I spend very little time above ~5k but have tons of power from 1800+ so there is no need 99% of the time to go above that.

Yeah I think if I do it I will go for a minor build to support 500-550. I don't want to sleeve it due to the cost and there is no need for my use of the car.

I was also thinking about spending the money on a custom made wide body kit and some wider wheels (10"F and 12"R). It would end up costing me about the same as a good motor build.

wide body would be cool. The sedan body isn't very curvy.....it could use some betterlines.

Yeah thanks for the pic. I like that one better than the one I sent you. Maybe I can come down there to talk one day next week. It is just such a long drive I have to plan to get off work a few hours early to get down there before you close.
