Considering the SSR Professors

After helping a friend search for some wheels for his Q, I ran across the SSR Professor SP1 in Bright Satin w/anodized lip. 18x8.5 with 37mm offest.

Opinions welcome.

18's are waaay too small for the professors, especially on the sedan.

The wheels are ok. Kind of plain for my taste.

19's will look better (more rim less tire) but if you are concerned with ride quality and performance, 18's are the way to go.

Absolutely fabulous wheels.....I've been a fan if these for years.

However, I'm not so sure about their looks on a sedan, certainly not at 18".
You'd have to get the offset and stance just right to pull these off on a Q sedan IMO.

19's. I wouldn't do silver though I'd go black with anodized lip.

Nice wheel. I agree with advice to go for 19"-this wheel has short spokes and it will give illusion of smaller wheel. So 18" will look like 17"
