Clutch 07 g35

i recently purchased a 07 g in stick. its my first car in stick but ive driven my friends bmw and etc....anyways my friend has a 330 performance ackage in stick and he drove my car and said the clutch is really sticky and difficult. will this go away? beacuse i drove my friends and after driving mine which was rather bumpy i drove his beamer and it was soo smooth and easy it was ridiculous! idont know , maybe its just new? soeone help me@!

The G's are known for having more of a on/off type of clutch. I was frustrated with the clutch for the first month or so. Once you get used to it though you can drive smooth.

From what I understand the clutch setup on the 07 models are the same as the 05/06 models.

It takes some getting used to. I went from a 98 328i to the 04 6MT. The clutch is indeed unforgiving in the g. And maybe because of the short ratios and the fact that there are 6 forward gears, I find that 1st is a bit too low when I stop (not so completely) and then continue at an intersection.

I've also noticed that the g's stick (the actual shifter control) bounces around like it's alive as you drive. It undulates, wiggles, etc. Very strange sensation. The 328 stick just sat there like it should. The dealer says that's normal.

oo alright, i mean yeah its getting much easier and im happy im not driving automatic! STICK IS SO FUN! now i jsut gotta to get good at it! but driving has been getting smoother
