I don't like the mix look I think all 05/06 or 03/04 looks better.

After chasing the few used '05 tail lights for sale on these forums and looking at all of the Infiniti parts websites (Riverside, Scottsdale, Grubbs), I think I found the least expensive route for NEW lamps; I got my outer brake lamps from this Ebay seller for $147 per side http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/05-06...mZ280121130341
and I got the reverse lamps from Scottsdale for $73 for the pair http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...roducts_id=234
Total cost was around $395, which is way cheaper than Scottsdale asking $463+shipping or Riverside quoting me $521.34 shipped . If you work at it, you might be able to get some lightly used ones off Ebay for under $200. Good luck.

Bama, you're welcome. I usually try to exhaust all means to find the least expensive route before throwing my cash down. Good luck with the mods!

Perry, I think that was a compliment......thanks. I've been working hard since I turned 18 to be able to have the things tha I do. Now at 27, I know that I'm blessed to be in the financial situation that I am, since we never had these types of "toys" when I was growing up. The FX is mine, and the G35 is unofficially my fiancee's, although I am taking out my modding addiction on it now.

Congrats!

I like my 06's a lot more than my 04's. When they first came out I loved the G's tails but now that so many other Hondas and Toyotas have the square LED clusters I needed a change. I was just lucky enough to find a guy who would swap me.

Rocket
I'm diggin the look of those rims on your G. Looks great.

The Reason i ask is b/c i had some work done to my car awhile back and asked the shop to order and put in some 05/06 Tail lights. The shop owner said he didnt feel safe leaving them in due to fitment and a chance of leaks ?

^He couldn't of been more wrong. They bolt up exactly like the 03/04 ones. The only difference between the two is the exterior. All the seals are in the same place from 03 to 06.
