upgrading d2s bulbs

did the search and couldnt find anything.....i will be upgrading the stock hid d2s bulbs and would like to know what is the easiest way to do this and what proceedure to follow...do i need to disconnect the battery or do anything special before removing the bulbs ? thanks

i have a 2006 sedan so i know that my car uses d2s...i was just wondering if there is anything i need to do other than just pulling out the bulbs like i would on any of my cars

If you have a 2006 sedan, you should be using D2R, as you have the reflectors and not projectors.

And no need to disconnect the battery, just undo the latch, twist, take the old bulb out, and put the new one in.

Stock bulbs are D2R! You can use D2S bulbs if you want, but it'll just throw more glare at drivers coming at you.

All non-projector G's use D2R. I had to change to D2S with my projector mods.

You mean H4. The projector headlight on the coupe uses an H1.

Lol, this is why the forums are good. He would have had 4 useless bulbs if no one told him otherwise

I think he just found a list for an 06G coupe thinking they were the same but the coupe and sedan are not.

so just to clarify, what bulbs does my car use ?

2006 g35 sedan ....im so confused and im about to order the bulbs today
