well, kinda embarrassing but here goes. theres this girl that works at home depot and she's really cute. i spoke to her a few times but never new exactly how to say, can i get ur number? can i take you out? im not very experienced with this so, was wondering if you guys can give me some advice or help w/o laughing. haha. my problem is, i get nervous or dont want to say anything when ppl are around. so what should i do?

i know i should be posting this in the general disscussion, but just wanted some advice from sedan clan.

oh, and i agree that it is that easy bc you already got a woman.

 

Try alcohol! It seems to work a lot for people who are new to talking to girls. haha Seriously though, just walk up and talk to her. Feel her out and see how she acts. If she smiles a lot, she is either being REALLLLYY nice, or she might think your interesting(for lack of better words right now). WHat do you have to lose? Not going back to Home Depot because she said get away? Its just a girl, take a chance.

 

I don't think it's a good idea to ask her out while she is on the clock. Talk to her when she gets off work. If you don't try and talk to her you will never get the nerve to do it. What's the worse that can happen right? She could be a maniac that prays on helpless customers. j/k.

ask is she would like to grab coffee after her shift - easy, non-threatining, and will give you 20-30 minutes for each of you to decide if it's worth taking another step.

 

go for coffee or buy a cheap phone and ask her how to program her phone number

Minor change tho, I'd go with "Hi my name is (insert name) I have seen you here from time to time and would like to know if you would be interested in going out to grab a cup of coffee or bite to eat"

If it's yes, then a) either tie down when (lunch is good (make sure you're not over-eager and try for that day or the next...)) or get her phone number, then later b) find out what kind of food she likes, and c) ask if she'd rather meet there or have you pick her up.

I agree keep it simple, and honest. Most girls dont want to hear a bunch of B.S. or cheasy lines. Dont wait until she is off the clock, then you look like a STALKER!!!

 

If you already spoke to her a few times, this will be your next line.

"You got anything going this weekend? I'd like to see this movie blah blah..." and "there's this awesome restaurant I'd like you to try...blah blah"
or something like that...
