X5 4.4 - G35 auto will beat it
X5 4.8 - G35 auto doesn't have a chance
E500 - g35 auto doesn't have a chance
Maxima - G35 auto has a good chance
Guess how i know this??? Well i have raced all of them and went dead even with 4.8 and the E500 and i have no problem pulling on G35 autos espacially speeds over 60mph.

The thing that caught my eye was that he is your friend and you don't know which version of the X5 he has??????
Also there is no 3.4 litter maxima.

 

That took some mad skillz to save that one.

Anything short of Cayenne S or Turbo and the ML 55 aren't really challenging.

Took out an ML500 on one of the 'Vegas run with 4 people and luggages, and he was the only one in the car. Couldn't even keep up with my friends car, '06 Lincoln LS v6, with similar configuration.

 

I don't know about, man. According to the mags, the 4.8 X5 is a 14.5@96mph SUV. My auto G went 14.3s almost 98mph stock. It would be close, but I have no doubt my auto G would outrun the 4.8 X5, especially above 60mph.

 

U might be right, i made a typing mistake saying all, but i did race all of them besides that one. But from what i heard X5s 4.8s do 5.5 0-60 and very low 14s 1/4 mile.

And there aren't many people that can launch a automatic like u do.

 

and may i ask whats DaveB's secret to launching an automatic???

You're right the 4.4 was a low 15, 4.6 was marginally better. 4.8 as others have posted is a 14.5 http://www.roadandtrack.com/article....&page_number=6

A few FX45 owners I know also own G coupes and say the coupes beat out the 45s easily from a dig. Rolling the V8s have a better chance but every SUV is aeordynamically challenged the fatser it goes.

G35 is faster than the X5 4.8is.

G35 and E500 are similar in their accelleration.

G35 will not touch the E550.

 

i meant 3.5 maxima and it has nioo chance with either of us.... and the X5 ws a 4.4-or 4.8 not exactly sure but i has nothing to do with the starts i killed him even if i gave him 2 car lenght i still woulda won

Speaking about beemers...I got burned by a 335i twin turbo. I was about 2 cars back of him. It had great acceleration. Now it gives me an excuse for SC or something.
