06 looks dull as $hit anyway, not sporty, why would you want to ruin your G. 06G:05G = Lexus IS:Lexus ES

 

^^why does the 06 looks dull?? did i misinterpret something?? I think the 05-06 bumpers look way better than 03-04

 

This tread can start a flame war between 03, 04 and 05, 06 owners looks are subjective. I think the better alternative would be to paint the black bumpers on your car body colored and pick up a nismo front bumper in a group buy you wouldn't have second thoughts about the differences in an 05 thru 06.

 

no need to convert...just get the nismo (aero) kit available for the 03-04 sedans only and you'd be satisfied. You don't have an idea how many 05-06 owners wish they could have the nismo kit....however 05+ bumper + oem lip is sick too I like both!!!

 

I went to the bodyshop about this yesterday, the paint tech said that the skirtings are made out of the softer scratch resistant plastic. Since this plastic is more oily, he said that the paint wouldn't adhere to it very well and would flake off over time.

 

^ That statement is false. When properly preped, you won't have any problem. I've painted all the lower pieces, even the mudguard.

 

Mine told me the same thing before I got the nismo sides.

i have an '06 and I would love to get the nismo bumper......but it won't work..damn it!!!!!

 

I do want the Nismo, but the customs ppl at the border like to rape us up the **** when it crosses.

 

03/04 > 05/06 lol
