No sound when turning signal is on...

I just noticed today that when I put on my turning signal, there is no sound that lets you know you blinker is on. I searched the forums and didn't see any other threads about this. Anyone have any ideas?

It must be a glitch or something. Sometimes mine does that also. But it turn back to normal after a while. You won't even notice it much later on.

medgar, you can try checking the fuse for the turn signal. Fuse locations are stated in your owner's manual. Just so you know, there are 2 fusebox locations: One in the battery compartment under the hood, and one to the left of the e-brake pedal.

I believe I remember this being discussed a long time ago, the owner disconnected his battery over night and the sound was back.

The G has an electronic beeper to simulate what a mechanical flasher would sound like, if the G has a mechanical flasher. Instead of a mechanical flasher our flasher is electronic, so it doesn't click.

Thanks for the ideas. I think I will try the fuse box first. If I don't see anything wrong there I will try disconnecting the battery.

Mine comes and goes LOL. I don't really care.
I'd be plenty happy if it just quit entirely, along with the annoying beep beep beep with the keys in the ignition... sounds like Nissan stole the beep noise right off an 86 Honda Accord

^Clock is out (as in doesn't keep time) or just the lights? If it's the lights, the bulbs are blown (common problem, there are threads on it) I replaced mine with LEDs

^Hmm, must be a fuse then. I'll see if I can find which one.

I think I found it.

Check the 10 amp fuse directly below the fuse puller in the inside fuse compartment (on the left side of the driver's side footwell)

^Your driver's side footwell is under the hood? Driving your car must be impossible, no wonder you hit a....... nevermind.

It's the one inside, by the parking brake pedal (assuming you have a 5AT)
