Too much traffic in Malibu Canyon, try Topanga instead
This is a bit off-topic (can't make the run either, and I go that way every day back and forth to work, so it's a bit of a bore for me), but just in case anyone's new to the area:
Unless you go at some really odd hour, you won't have much fun on Malibu Canyon Road. Too much traffic, and it's usually pretty slow. Personally, I'm not crazy enough to try to get around any traffic, so not much chance to have any fun.
For a (sometimes) less crowded and VERY twisty road, if that's what you're looking for, try going "north" on Old Topanga Canyon Road (go north on Topanga Canyon Road from the PCH, then go "straight" at the split). That'll take you through Old Topanga Canyon Road to Mullholland Road in Calabasas.
Make you lose your lunch, it will...
