Yea i noticed he was on the same team.

But on the fact of me wanting to see the car was not to bash on it. That was the last thing i wanted to do. From the pic shown on the opening screen the car looked like it was a pretty nice looking sedan and that it was pretty heavily modded. Once i saw the car i formed my opinion on it and thats what i think. I'm sorry if i flustered any of you.

Not sure about "throw some paint" when I think that paint job has to be in the $3000-$4,000 range. Might be more if that's a custom or expensive color.

yeah, i'd imagine it was a pretty $$$$$ paint job, HOK is pricey, add to that the fact that it's a really crappy kit. I think he did pretty well. I'm guessing the OP felt the same at one point.

I dont know what it is, I really like his kit and I really like the vehicle. Those are not EBay head lamps, those are from the "clearcorners" company which cost 1k+ to modify.

I think he took some relitively controversial items (hood pins...unpainted carbon fiber...large front diffuser), mixed em up with a clean paintjob (checkout the black accents) and for some reason...it looks really really clean.

I think the owner has good style. The body shop has good skill as well - the body kit fitment is perfect! aftermarket kits are not BOLT ON. that **** NEVER fits right. aftermarket kits, non OEM that just "bolt on" are very very rare.

I give the designer/owner of this vehicle mad props.

$1K+???

I'll do all that for $100 to anyones headlight, including clearing out the orange lense.

If they are the clearcorners ones they have LED angel eyes and some other mods in them too. They are big $$$.

I have to agree with all of this. Most of us are quick to bash (me included) but when you consider how much work went into this car it's very nice. It may not be for everyone but it's nice.

I'm not withdrawing my comment that mine has more mods, etc but still wanted to give this guy props. Plus his iForged wheels are hot!

Cool

The fact is his car is orange. He might of gone to a great shop to have it done. And sure he might of spent 5 grand on the paint job. But still that does not hide the fact that it was a bad choice. I think if he would of gone with some sort of red, personally i think a deeper red the car would of got my thumbs up. But what the heck do i know. I'm done with this mans car.

But i would like to see what it sells for.

You mean red, probably one of the most common colors ever in the history of automobiles? But I don't think he was really looking for your approval when choosing the color.

It must be popular for a reason.. Umm maybe B/c it looks good jackass

Preferably this tone of red.

But like you said he was not seeking my approval and all that really matters is hopefully he enjoyed his car and what he did with it.

To YOU. Maybe he wanted to be different, not popular

Nice Supra though. There's a maxima painted that color and a Mazda, and etc.. etc.. etc.... You get the point.

Given the timeframe and the references of the day, I think he was probably leading edge.

I like the car. I wouldn't have gone orange but understand why he might have. In my opinion, he pulled it off. If he drove by, the car would definitely catch my eye.

A lot of civics catch my eye but doesn't mean i like them. Half the time I'm in amazement on how someone could ever do something like that to their car.
