Are the fronts or rears worn different? The car reads revolutions of the
wheels via abs sender, and if the fronts have a significant difference in tread
it will activate the light. When you shut off it resets.

Probally just the weather messing with your sensors.

You need to check and set your pressures when the tires are cold, not when you pull off the road. Pressures are usually 3-4 psi higher after you drive even a couple of miles. Weather doesn't mess with the sensors, but it will reduce the cold pressure in your tires about 1 psi for every 10 degrees F that the ambient temperatures drop.

That's not correct.
There are systems on the market that do it that way, but Infiniti uses
individual pressure sending units in each wheel that transmit to the BCM
via the remote door lock receiver. The BCM decides whether the pressure
in any one of the tires falls below the preset minimum.

what about the aftermarket wheel guys...where are the sensors in those
wheels? Most sensors are either band around the rim or on the valve stem...I have seen neither on the G's. If you can show me the sensor I
consider my self educated...thanks

The metal valve stem on the Infiniti OEM wheels is an extension of the sensor. If you go to aftermarket wheels you have 3 possible scenarios:

1) The sensors fit the valve stem holes on your new wheels, so you get them transferred.
2) The sensors don't fit your new wheels, so you get them transferred by attaching them with bands.
3) You don't transfer them at all - pretty common with winter setups.

If you don't transfer the sensors, then what? No light ever? My wheels came
with the tires mounted with stems in them, do I now have no TPS? Thanks
for the education....

Sounds like either the weather messing with them fast cold to hot change. Or one of the batteries is low and the sensor may need replaced.

I have had them come on from time to time when I drive from Prescott (5200ft) down to Phoenix (1100ft) within an hour. My tires only had ~35psi to start.

If you don’t transfer the sensors I think the light may come on and stay on. Either that or it won’t come on at all.

If you don't have the sensors installed the light comes on after about 30-45 minutes. It will shut off when you restart the car. I don't have the TPS's in my summer wheels, so I just deal with it.

If you have rubber valve stems then you have no wheel sensors.

This is the second year that I've had my winters on with no sensors in them. I swapped to the winters in mid-November and I haven't seen the light yet this year, but I haven't been out of the city so far. About 45 minutes of continuous driving at highway speeds will usually trigger the light to come on, but it will reset as soon as you shut off and restart.
