Why is that??? (I have ideas as to why but the whole thing still makes me angry)

Cordileran, sorry to hear about your G. Hopefully you can get it fixed soon and without issue.

Three words.

Poor moral character.

Growing up in a world where bad behavior carries no penalty and being a thug, drug dealer, pimp, or ho is glamorized in our nation's most popular style of music and on TV on a nightly basis. As the CSIs haul away the criminal for '25 to life' each night, I wish they'd show the offender getting a$$-raped in the shower instead of the cops jumping into their $60K SUV and riding off into the sunset.

Living in a world where the priority is mom or dad getting a new tattoo instead of telling junior to put the video game controller down and learn how to read and write properly.

Because 'going with the crowd' carries different consequences than it did 20 years ago, but society provides no means to measure the consequences - instead EVERYTHING is acceptable.

Mom and dad expecting the public to educate and train their children and want to be a friend instead of a parent.

Because 'going with the flow' is easier than 'going with what's right..'

When I was a kid, I wouldn't dream of keying a car. Are you kidding? An adult might see me and I might get in trouble with the law. Nowadays adults are few and far between (age being no indicator) and the law won't even get involved. Who cares about a keyed car when you're trying to stop school shootings?

I could go on for hours. Don't get me started.

That sucks man. You sure it's really from getting keyed? Someone could have walked by between your car & someone elses carrying something (like a big oversized bag or something) that could have scraped up against your car... They don't look deep enough to be a true keying?

sorry to see that happen....that's just a lack of respect and if the person has an issue with you they should confront you face to face

I was parallel parked with the damaged side toward the sidewalk. I see no difference between someone who intentionally damages someone's property and someone who does so accidentally and then disappears without trying to make amends. It sure looked like a key to me.

Estimate coming tomorrow
