Front end noise...yea i know.

I tried searching but I was unsure on what to call it... i am not that familiar with car parts.... but whats happening is.. when ever I hit bumps, normally at a slower speed (like exiting my driveway.. the kinds that have the big dips at the bottom of them) I hear a noise coming from the front end...kinda like a squeak, it sounds like it has something to do with the front left suspension or spring or something... is it possible for it to be like...a lack of liquid in something? or is it something more serious? any help would be huge!

Congratulations. You have now joined the ranks of those of us with the Compression Rod compaint. Do a search for that term. The noise is actually coming from the rod bushings, which are integral to the beefy aluminum rods. Some dealers will try to lubricate the bushings, but this rarely works to solve the problem, or doesn't work for more than a few days.

I have it. I ignore it. Doesn't bother me. Nothing the dealer can do unless you make weekly visits.

yes this is a stupi deisgn flaw by infiniti. good dealers will replace them no problem, but most can't replicate problem. If you are in Cali go to mission viejo infiniti. The sound isn't scewing up the car at all, just a sound deflection.

Mine makes a little noise like that but after all the mods I have I was expecting a little noise. Way better than the urethane bushings I had on my last set of sway bars. Those were bad!

Have it on mine also. Have been ignoring it for the most part. At times it does become annoying but as long as it is not harmful I may just live with it.

I thought there was a fix for this? like replace the compression rod w/ newer ones & that addresses it? They replaced something in my car & mine went away for good (for a year now)...

OH...I thought they came out w/ a modified/revised version of this part (i.e. newer model) that addressed it so it wouldn't happen again...my bad.

The compression rod noises come and go on my 03. In temps above 60, they don't make any noise. In sub 60 degree temps, it's hit or miss. After driving for 5 minutes, the rods are silent. I'm not going to bother fixing this issue.
