Tires failing - 2005 G35x

Hey folks...

I'm in NY, and while we haven't gotten much snow, it has been cold the last few weeks.

Twice within the last two weeks, my car with around 12k miles on it, has lost grip while cornering at reasonably low speeds ... No ice on the ground, the pavement is dry. The tires appear to still have good tread, but one time I really lost control and drifted about 10 feet. Today I drifted a few feet, but I was going quite slow at the time.

I have the stock Turanza's.

I've never experienced this with my previous car.

Any thoughts? Could this just be that the tire rubber is too cold and thus less "elastic" and able to grip? Both times the car had less than 4 miles on it after starting in the morning. (And let's say the temp was somewhere between 10F - 18F.)

Thanks

1, Check if VDC & AWD are working
2, get Toyo Proxy 4 All season

Factory rubber 12000 miles probably need replacment, not that goo to being with.

The stock all seasons are really useless. On both my last cars I took them off immeadiately.
Get yourself a good set of dedicated winters, you would be simply amazed at the difference.
