Red face Attempt #2 Tein CS Coilovers

OK so I just sent payment for another set of Tein CS coilovers to a member here. The last time I tried this it did not turn out well and became a legal battle including American Express, Paypal and the police. Ended up getting my money back. Thank god!

This seller seems to be a much better guy and I am very excited. Just need to order a EDFC now. Found one shop that has them for $315 shipped. Anyone know of a better deal?

Tyson - want to send me some more details on your ash tray mod? I might try that. Either that or I am going to put it up with my EBC and UTEC Tuner in the navi cubby.

awesome Tim, you'll love the ride height adjustablilty, CS coils were a little too soft for me that's why i went with Basics.

I'm hoping that they will be nice for the DD and have enough to still enjoy the occasional mountain drive. If not, I'll find a set of SS and sell them.

Did you have the EDFC? How were they when set to full stiff?

i didnt have the CS on my car, just rode in one, didnt like it and didnt like the flex either, they were too stiff, so i went with basics. If i needed dampening adjustabilty i'd go with the SS's since they're right in the middle.

I would love to get a set of SS but the import fees are a PITA. I wish they sold them in the US. The best price I have found to get them imported was ~$1880. Not including the EDFC. That's over $650 more than the CS ones I'm getting so I think these are worth a try. My GF will be happy with the new comfy ride.

I just cant understand how people would want there G35 to ride any harder than what the CS can provide.
I find this setup just a perfect balance for all around driving, plus with more adjustment left for tracking.
With a few try's I found that the Front liked 10 clicks to hard, and back needed 14 clicks to hard.
I even feel that its still a bit to firm for everyday driving. I wonder why people complain about rattles in there cars. Maybe a bit to much spring rate? Get some good sways with the CS and be very happy.

New in box EDFC $200.00 Never used.
