Cut the back 2 doors off your car...then weld it togather without the doors and you have a sedan thats now a coupe!

Umm.. why do you say this its the same engine ? ? Why wouldnt it make the same tone with some changes to the exhuast system..

 

If Fi comes through with their exhaust, I think they will come as close as you can get.

 

what will adding only the z-tube and a popcharger get you?

 

I remembered something about our transfer case that's in the way. Can't someone come up with any bright ideas to go around it? Someone out there must be able to do it. I love the coupe/fx/z exhaust sound better than anything else (except the exotics like 911, ferraris, etc)

 

Not sure for the 06 but here is my setup:
1.Blitz NUR spec exhaust
2. 04 coupe mid pipe (weight reduction also)
3. Z tube
4. JWT pop charger

3-4 will be gone in 2-3 weeks when the supercharger goes on though.
My setup sounds stock on idle. But when going through the RPM range it opens up and has a mean growl. I always get compliments on it. Dealer tells me its the best sounding G he's ever heard.

Yeah it was always under 50.

 

There is a little drone with the Borla but the Stillen has more. If you get HF cats it will get way worse.

 

Yes it's the same engine but the sound that the coupes have is very unique and all about the exhaust. I have seen many try but never duplicate it, you just don't have the same space to do what it would take.

If you want to try go right ahead, anything is possible but so far all have failed.

Maybe I should just sell off everything and just do the full exhaust.
