Exactly. The intake manifold bolts require very little torque hence the reason for the super soft and easily snapped manifold bolts. It's better to break a $0.70 bolt and snake it out than ruin the threads on a $400+ manifold. The steel bolts provided by MD can cause major damage to the manifold if you overtorque because the bolts will not give, the manifold threads will. If you overtorqued the MD bolts, the chances are good that you've fubared the threads and will not be able to correctly torque down the factory bolts if you ever remove the spacer.

Know what you're doing and why
Read the directions 3 times
Use the correct tools
