Baker Motors in Charleston, SC & Manual to Automatic

I just took my car in for the first service appointment (bought the car in November w/3,800 miles - it now has 6,700 miles).

Well I must say that this is why I bought an Infiniti.

The dealership also sells MB & Porsche, so I expected they would be rather high-end.

I pulled into the service department and the advisors even have their own offices. That rocks.

I sat in this great waiting room while the guy brought my loaner around. I didn't ask for anything, so of course I got another g35 sedan.

I just actually felt like they cared I was there. Something that I am not going to get at a Nissan dealership. Then they pulled my loaner around - I am not riding to work in a freakin minivan with 8 other people.

So... this is what it is like to be spoiled. I am never going to be able to go back to a non-premium line. Sucks to be 27 and already have such expectations.

As for the auto... it really is not that bad. I had forgotten how torquey the non-rev-up motors are. I could see why someone would want to drive it on a daily basis - it was sweet to just sit back and drive. What is happening? Am I getting old??

Sometimes it's nice to drive an auto. I always enjoyed having one for a day here and there. Just not as my DD.
