I wouldn't do anything else. I think the car hit a sweet spot already.

I never thought of that. That might be just want I am looking for. See, I knew if I threw this out to you guys and gals (if any) there would be some great suggestions. I just might go this route.

I don't know if I could do the silver. I don't like the billet look at all and that to me might just look to close to that. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Door handles and mirror bases are being painted in about a week
You have a great point though. I just saw an IP 07 today up close in a parking lot. They have the painted door handles and a more pronouced grill than the earlier years. It ties in nicely with the chrome door trim. Stock rims so they are all silver

Thanks Chico
I'm almost done with the exterior mods. Just painting a few things and getting rid of 4 door dings (oh...and BBK....and...uh...who am I kidding)

Thank you everyone for your opinions. This is the best G forum for so many reason but the best cause of its members

Chris, your car looks great as is....I think the white grill is unique and I want to like it, but it reminds me a bit of the OG racers (back in the early 90s/late 80s)that would paint everything (I mean everything) on their car white. Sometimes some contrast is good!

I say leave it stock...

Buy a second grill and paint it so you can swap when you want to.

That is what caskyline did for g35lin. His with no emblem and silver came out great.

Yeah, that's what I am afraid of. There is such a thing as too much modding . I may just opt for the Mt. Fuji in white only or as Machavez just suggested, have a second one on hand...or just leave it the hell alone

Does g35lin have an IP sedan also? I think I remember caskyline doing a silver grille now that you mention it. I just don't remember what it turned out to look like. I'll see if I can dig up a pic.

Thanks!

The emblem in the middle of the grille. Look at the pics on the first post in this thread or walk out to your car and look at your grille

Tim
I think this is what you are talking about?
You're right, it does look great. Something else to consider now.

Yea, Mt Fuji is the emblem in the center of your grille and on your trunk lid
unless of course you've removed it.
Back to the grille.........leave the damn thing alone or replace it! A white
grille looks like you had a spray can and to much time on your hands.......
