Waiting for G35X. Dealer order sheet shows early September order date and"v" order number. Dealer being vague on when car is coming in.Dealer originally talked of an "early december,possible late November arrival.Now January's being tossed around.

I've seen post from folks who've taken delivery of thier X's Wondering what your order date/order numbers were like.

 

I ordered mine in early October. I wanted silver with graphite interior. Wasn't on his list coming in early December. He promised me he would get me the car. He had to call the factory in Japan told me a few days later it would be in his December shipment and he was right on. Picked it up Thurs day, a day ahead of the snow. It was really an excellent experience, no problems. He did say that if he couldn't slip the order in I would have to wait until January. Hope you get it soon!

 

It was weird here in the Philly area. Some dealers said they couldn't get me the car I wanted (black/willow interior) until February, or asked for a deposit and they'd get it as soon as they could. But Infiniti of Willow Grove said they ordered about 15 of them, and they had what I wanted. They told me what day they were arriving (Nov. 24th) and we went and did the paperwork on black Friday, then picked up the car a few days ago. It was really simple. I guess I got lucky, they had what I wanted right away. We never placed an "order". We just decided to give our info to about 8 dealers and see who would have what we wanted at the right price first. It happened within 2 weeks.

Went shopping for my car in Early October. Dealer already had several X's on order which had not been pre-sold, including one that was equipped almost exactly as i had wanted. Made a couple of small compromises (ex: car came w/ desert platinium exterior,which was my second choice) because I figured if I ordered from scratch I'd be waiting 3-4 months.

 

If it was a V order it should be in by now. My V was changed to a W, because the dealer said they weren't producing Garnet Red or Caribbean blue G35xs in October? The W orders are due in the end of December-early January. Do you have a V order number?
