Wink Mine is bigger than yours!

I could not resist that title.

OK so I also could not resist the deal on this radiator and living in Phoenix I figured what the heck. It's made by AMS and I got it on a GB over on My350z.

So first the bling shots:

Now for the bad news.
Being that it's made for the 350Z, it does not fit quite right. Not quite a plug-and-play.
First it does not fit the top mounting points. Good news is that some longer bolts and I can use the points where the A/C cooler mounts but I forgot to take a pic of that.
Next, you have those ugly holes where the oem one did mount. I might have UMS weld me up some kind of adapter, we'll see.
The bottom mounting holes on the subframe needed to be modified a little.
I had to trim the upper hose and cut down one of the fan supports so the driver's side coolant hose would fit.

I think that is about it. If anyone wants to get one let me know and I can give you more details on the changes. It only took me ~2.5 hours to install, not too bad.

After all that work tonight, it's staying right where it is! It came in while I was eating dinner and I said f-it, I'll blow off everything else and go put it on.

did you have any overheating issues?

my temp gauge never moves.....I don't know if that's a good thing, or if the stock gauge just sucks!

No problems but I wanted the extra safety for the 115+ summers here in Phoenix. Plus I plan to build the motor down the line and put in some track time.

I would not trade my car for anything except maybe an RS6 or new M5 but I would mod those too. I did the G to have something mine that is like nothing else around. Plus I have been in love with the G's looks since the first time I saw one.

It took quite a few other tools but the dead blow hammer is always near by.
