New to the forum. Is this a good deal?

Hi everybody! New member here on the forum. Your posts have been great in helping me to decide if I should get a G35 Sedan or not. I test drove one on Sunday and it was pretty good (Some minor gripes though).

Can get a sedan with leather and sport for $28725 before tax and license. This is $500 over invoice. I've checked another dealership and he can't do better. Is this good? Seems like it's the best I can do.

If that is $500 over invoice that is a good deal. If it's $500 over MSRP, you should be able to get it lower. When the sedan first came out, it was possible to shop around and pick it up for MSRP, now that the hype is down somewhat (and the coupe being the new thing, you should be able to get MSRP no problem, maybe even lower if you correctly stated invoice.

Also, welcome to the club! Check out the regional forums as they have good info for different locations!

$500 over invoice, take it and run......or drive!! It's a good deal if it's the car that you want.

Looked at and almost purchased: WRX to an A4 to the G35. A4 was a top candidate because of the luscious interior, but best I could do was $1k over invoice, which puts the G in a better position price wise due to the added power.

Currently driving a classic SE-R and Nissans have never failed me so far. Axed the WRX idea since I gotta grow up now.

ED: BOO??

I paid $29000 with trunk mat and sunroof. I think it was around $270 over invoice. Your number sounds right, but I would go for $200-$300 over.

I got $1800 off the MSRP and that was the best anyone within a 200 miles of the bay area would do. Go for it, IF it is the car you want. I would not chase a good deal just because it's a good deal. Keep your head and get what you want when you want it.

City is Monrovia, Metro Infiniti and I contacted them via AAA.

I found the dealer thru the Costco program and $500 over invoice is the "no-haggle" deal. I originally asked because I'm a bit skeptical about these kind of "deals".

Will be picking it up during lunch.
