I've been running a similar setup for sometime and I do like it. What I would really like is softer front springs and stiffer rear springs - just to try. Curious if this will improve the ride. Disclaimer - I am not a suspension guy. I have no clue what I am doing!

I don't meant to second-guess what daveB and ttrank have to say, but if you're not running stock-sized tires on the stock wheels, why would you still be going by the stock tire pressure recomendations? I regularly run no less than 40 lbs in my BFG KDW2's, without excessive road noise or harshness, and when I autocross or road race, I bump that up to 45+ lbs. I think you need to look at what pressure the tire manufacturer recommends on the side of the tire, and take into account how soft/firm your particular tire's sidewalls are. Just my $.02.

I'm late to this thread but have some experience to offer. I drove a 95 M3 for 6 years and now an 04 M3 -- and didn't like the stock suspension on either one. Aftermarket did the trick in both cases, lowering the cars and improving handling while actually improving the ride. I won't get into details.

And I had the same issues with the stock 05 sport suspension on the G35. Thanks to the excellent advice here, I got the unrevised Z springs, keeping the shocks, which solved the float and roll problems noted above. The car is perfect now for what it is trying to be -- a cushy sport sedan, not a high-strung dual-use car like any M3.

I'm looking forward to pushing the limits of this car just a touch when I get some fresh rubber on and get an alignment in a week or so.

Overall, this upgrade was definitely worth it for me. The subtle visual drop is ideal and the improvement in "sporty" cornering ability and highway ride is worth every penny.
REPLACE THE BRIDGEROCKS!!I put eagle responce edge(the ones with kevlar in the hoop and carbon fibre in the sidewalls) on mine and the difference in handling is night and day. They are 10X quieter that the bridgestones. They improved the ride quality significantly and they grip way better than the bridgerocks ever did! When I used to turn the traction off in a curve it was guaranteed sideways...I could also get the car sideways shifting into third. Now I really have to push hard to loosen the rear end up. the ONLY difference is the tires! I dont know if they are that good or the OEM were that bad?
