recalls
I wanted to ask if anyone knows which of the G35's are being recalled for the premature brake wear.I talked with someone from Infinity Consumer Affairs, they ran my Vin # and there was no recall on the brakes or rotors, only the headlight problem and the brake switch. This recall must be for the earlier models.Mine was built 9/02
Thanks

Re: recalls
they did the recalls on 2003's and 2003.5's.
i had my 1st set replaced at 12,000 miles.
i had my brakes re-done about a month ago and finally got my check from Nissan Motors!
2004+ shouldn't have any major brake issues.
good luck!
2003.5 Sedan D.Platinum or Mist I forget

Re: recalls
I'd have to double check and make sure there are no specific VIN ranges excluded, but I believe it's all automatic coupes and sedans (all non-brembo models). There are new pads out that are an updated compound too, so any replacement pads you get from here on out should be slightly different from the orginial pads.

Re: recalls
I have a 2004 Sedan, and I got the brake letter, where did you see that the '04's + didn't have the issue?

Oh, I hope this is right, it would make sense for Infiniti to do that!
