LF noise

i have a noise in my LF suspension. It sounds to me like a bad shock/strut but i am a truck tech so i can;t be sure.
It only happens on some bumps and sounds kind of hollow like tapping a subwoofer with your fingers. it is a 2003 sedan automatic 86,000kms
any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Andrew

Could be a bad wheel bearing. I had one replaced.

The number ONE suspect for front-end low-speed noise is the Compression Rod bushings. Do a search for "compression rod", and you'll find dozens of posts describing it.
